I am a certified dog groomer and I do the grooming for Charles and Peggy Jones at Friendly Pets and Acres Kennel. I have been to a lot of kennels and have seen many different set ups and quality of care. Charles and Peggy have one of the best kennels I have worked with. Their animals are extremely well cared for and socialized, they have plenty of room to run and play, they are all healthy and have good dispositions. Just about every kennel owner will tell you that they take wonderful care of their dogs (that may or may not be true) but Charles and Peggy Jones REALLY do! As a kennel groomer, I travel well out of my preferred area just to go there. They have some of the most happy and well adjusted dogs I have ever worked with and I recommend their kennel to anyone.

Just thought I would share with you and your wife a little news about the two female yorkies we purchased from you last summer.

When we registered them with AKC, we changed the name to Julie's Ozark Fine Time Lucille, called Lucy, and Julie's Ozark Leaping Lizzie, called just Lizzie.

Lucy was the one that had puppies before we purchased, and Lizzie is the one that you had shaved before.

Lucy gave birth to 4 little puppies last Saturday. The first one was breach or backwards and she was not having any luck having it. On our way out of the house to take her to the vet, she was able to deliver, but we went on to the vet and had the rest taken by cesarean. Was a good thing, because she had twins, with two puppies in one sack. Vet said once he saw that, she would not have ever been able to deliver them and we would have lost them.

All worked out well, she was up and around within a few hours after the surgery, and has been an excellent mother.

Lizzie came in heat and we just finished breeding her to our champion sired male. Hoping she has puppies sometime around the end of the year.

We really enjoy both of them, maybe Lizzie a little more because she is more social. She sleeps in our bed every night, and has the run of the house and is almost totally house trained.

Hello Charles & Peggy, Greetings from Maryland
We, Sharon & Joe Gallup of Baltimore , Maryland , purchased an
American Eskimo Mini-Toy female puppy from you. She was born
on June 17th-06 & we received her on Sept.28th-06.
We just wanted to let you both know what a Pleasure it has
been having "Daise" in our lives. She is a very healthy and happy puppy. 


Daise has just been spayed on Jan.11th and is doing Wonderful. She is now 14 lbs, her white hair is getting thick and long and she just lost her last baby tooth on Jan.11th.
We just wanted to pop in & Thank You for Our Wonderful Addition to our family and wanted to let you know how much Joy & Love she has brought us.
And we will continue to care for her, love her, respect her & always give her
all the attention she so much deserves for her entire life.
Daise is much more than an animal/pet, Daise is Our Precious Daughter.
Daise has a loving home, very large yard to herself, healthy food in her tummy, tons of toys & The Most Warm Loving Family & Friends.

I wanted to let you know that "Lady" and I arrived back in East Texas just fine. Lady howled for about five miles when we first started out from your home, but never did get sick in the car. At the stopover in Mena, she made it plain that she had never agreed to anything about a leash. But I got her interested in going for a walk and after about 20 minutes she settled in to being led around.

It took my cat a few days to get used to being first barked at, then chased. But in a week, the cat was spending as much time stalking the puppy as Lady was chasing the cat. They are now real playmates, chasing each other around the house and wrestling together on the floor.

I've been taking her to work with me for about the last week and a half. I started her off with some crate training, but after the third day she decided to (mostly) just lay quietly under my desk. She loves everyone at the office, although she gets her feelings hurt if anyone forgets to say Hello to her. She's already learned to sit, stay, come and the last few days she's started barking when she needs to go out. Depending, of course, on what else is going on at the moment (if she's playing with the cat, she doesn't hear a word I say).

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that Lady is doing great and is turning out to be everything I had hoped for.
