Hi Chuck, I just wanted to send you an email and give you an update on
the little boy Shylo. He is one year old today and what a
sweetie. I love him like THE CRAZIES, hehe. I've attached a few
pics that I took of him today. He has shredded a lot of his fur. He
loves being with his mommy too. The other two dogs go outside to play but
he wants to be right by my side all the time. And jealous...he don't like
the others getting any affection from me...he wants it all and then when he
gets all my attention, he don't want it...but he is the best cuddler in the
whole world...he usually takes naps on top me when I am lying on the sofa...he
loves treats...I am sure if he could speak he would tell me so...when I say
"what do you want"..he gives me this big boy bark and looks right in
the direction of the treats. Too cute.
I hope all is well with you and Peggy. Take care, and thank you again so
much for making my life that much happier :) Love, -B

You know Brenda what you have found
with "Shylo" is what we honestly try to bring into so many homes. We
truly love our puppies and adults. They are family. Every time we pick up a
puppy we give him or her a kiss on the head and a “I love you.” This makes a lot
of difference. This is why our puppies make such huggers and lovers. And
this special love extends even to our 14 pygmy goats and guineas. A week ago we
purchased 2 new baby pygmy goats. They are wonderful lovers. They follow us
everywhere. They also get those kisses on the head.
At this same sale we obtained a free kitten. She also has become a delight. In
our kitchen she plays and plays with our new Shih-Tzu puppy. At night they
sleep together.
Remember dear "Lucy"?
After15 years she suddenly died on us. We cried and cried for her. We still
miss her so much.
3 weeks ago some jerk hit one of our
goats that had gotten out of her enclosure onto to the road. They didn't even
stop. They left her on the side of the road bleeding from multiple cuts and 2
broken legs. When I saw this, I cleaned her wounds, put antibiotic on them and
made 2 leg splints. As I was medicating her I told her we loved her and we were
so sorry for her pain. She got lots of kisses. 3 weeks later now she in fine.
We
are so blessed here. See latest pxs of goats and American Eskimo litter. Best
regards,
June/2010

Hi Christina,
I love my little Shylo, American Eskimo, he is absolutely adorable. Most of my dealings were with Charles and he is a great guy. Honest, helpful, and totally caring about his animals. I gave Chuck a deposit for Shylo and when he was ready to be shipped I paid him for the shipping costs. This man loves these animals so much that he would not allow Shylo to be flown to Toronto as he would be cooped up too long and fear of heat exhaustion. My admiration and respect grew more for this man after that. He worked with me and was willing to travel 3 hours to get Shylo to an airport that would get him to me, unfortunately, that didn't pan out due to the 14 hours Shylo would have to spend at airports/airplanes. Finally, I was able to hook a flight to Chicago, whereby Shylo was shipped via airline courier, and for only 2 1/2 hours instead of 14 hours. Chuck would have refunded my money had I not been able to get Shylo, rather than put that little darling through 14 hour ordeal. It all worked out in the end and I got the little sweetie, safe & sound.
Without hesitation, I would recommend Mr. & Mrs. Jones for adoption for the new addition to your family.
If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Good luck, you will love the eski - adorable, loyal little doggies! -B

Subject: Shylo - Got him :)
Hi Chuck, I picked up the little darling yesterday. It took a little while before he would come out of his crate (on the airport floor); but I managed with some treats that I had brought for him. I put him in my front carrying pack and checked in with him. He was so cute in it. I managed to get an earlier flight and got home by 12a. He never made a peep on the airplane. I even let him out on the seat (unbenounced to the stewards, ha ha) and gave him some love. Miki & Chance were very excited to see him. I left him in his crate all night and put him in the metal playpen (filled with newspaper - paper training him first) for today so the dogs can see him but not hurt him.
I got stopped at Customs on the way back and they were going to charge me duty (well gst/pst taxes) but they decided to just let me go thru with him. I forgot to declare his value. Geez, I didn't know adoption fees had to be declared ? Duh?!?
I am looking over at the kennel and both Shylo and Miki are sound asleep. They are almost touching one another. It is so funny how much Miki and Shylo look alike; I guess Miki looks more like the eski then a pom. Mini me. Too cute.
When does Shylo need to have his next needle ? I will bring him to the vet to have him checked over.
Anyhow, it all worked out in the end, weather cooperated and I finally got to meet the latest addition to my family. I think he will fit in just fine and it looks like the boys (Miki & Chance) love him too. All the best to you and Peggy & family. take care, -B

Thanks again Chuck. I love this little guy too. He is such a good puppy. Twice he woke last night (he slept on top of my bed, inside his crate, next to Miki & Chance) and I brought him outside, and twice he did his business. No mess in his crate, yay! I gave him another wash and he is wrapped in his blanket, asleep on my lap as I type to you. The boys love him. I can see him & Miki are going to be good friends already. He doesn't back down either, little trooper, for such a tiny boy.
Great, I will go to the vet in a month for his shot.
Thank care my friend, and if i am ever in AR, I will definitely drop by to meet you and Peggy. All the best. I will keep you informed of Shylo's progress. There is sooooo much more love in my house now! Sweet to have a new puppy and how the boys are so gentle with him, for now, anyway...haha. Bye for now... –B

Hi Poppy Chuck,
This is little baby Shylo (well, I'm not that little anymore :)) and my Mommy said that I am big enough to use the computer now and send you a little note to say thank you for giving me to the BEST mommy EVER. Her loves me soooo much! She takes for me for walks everyday with my two brothers, Miki & Chance and I don't even have to be put on a lease, unlike my brothers, hehe...she says that i am such a good boy that i stay right by her side :). I have nearly all my grown up teeth now too. I weigh 11 lbs, I stand up talling then Miki now :)...I am soon going to be Alfa dog, but he doesn't it yet hehe. Mommy took me on my first road trip...we drove all the way to Florida so she could get her new car and trailer. I was such a boy the whole trip; she is planning on taking us back to North Carolina in the spring for 5 weeks....she said she don't go anywhere without her boys.
I've enclosed some pics of me for you to see how well mommy is looking after me.
Take care, love, Shylo

Hello Mr. Jones,
I wanted to write and tell you about Apollo. He's 4 months old tomorrow and is doing so well!! We're very pleased with him. He was fast to housetrain and barks to go out, unless we're in sight, then he goes to the door and looks at us.
His training is going well also. He sits, stays, comes, shakes paws, down and down-stay all very well. My daughter started him to roll over today, although I think that's very undignified for so gorgeous a pup! hahaha
He's just had his final vaccination this past week, and weighs 27 pounds. He loves the children and playing with them. He loves going for walks. We also take him to grandma's house several times a week and he's quite at home there also.
He's very friendly to everyone and folks tell me I should train him to go to hospitals and nursing homes! So, just to bring you up to date, that's about it.
He did chew a piece of my coffee table, but we got him some new things that he likes to chew on now and that seems to be corrected. we'll be sending you a Christmas photo of him and the children. Thanks again for your good work in raising great pups!

To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Charles & Peggy Jones a great number of years. I truly know they are very honest in their dealings with both customers and friends doing business.
As dog breeders they take pride in their animals and facilities, their animals are well cared for, they are fair on the price of each animal and they stand behind each and every one to satisfy both customer and breeder.
It is my honest feeling that when I am in the market for a pup, that they raise, I will buy with confidence from them knowing that their puppy has had all the shots that are needed, and has been well cared for prior to purchase.
Their facilities are up to government standards and can be seen upon request.

I am a certified dog groomer and I do the grooming for Charles and Peggy Jones at Friendly Pets and Acres Kennel. I have been to a lot of kennels and have seen many different set ups and quality of care. Charles and Peggy have one of the best kennels I have worked with. Their animals are extremely well cared for and socialized, they have plenty of room to run and play, they are all healthy and have good dispositions. Just about every kennel owner will tell you that they take wonderful care of their dogs (that may or may not be true) but Charles and Peggy Jones REALLY do! As a kennel groomer, I travel well out of my preferred area just to go there. They have some of the most happy and well adjusted dogs I have ever worked with and I recommend their kennel to anyone.

Two Female Yorkies we purchased from you
From: Bill Holtz (bholtz@cox.net)
To: Charles H. Jones (chjones672@hotmail.com)
Hello,
Just thought I would share with you and your wife a little news about the two female yorkies we purchased from you last summer.
When we registered them with AKC, we changed the name to Julie's Ozark Fine Time Lucille, called Lucy, and Julie's Ozark Leaping Lizzie, called just Lizzie.
Lucy was the one that had puppies before we purchased, and Lizzie is the one that you had shaved before.
Lucy gave birth to 4 little puppies last Saturday. The first one was breach or backwards and she was not having any luck having it. On our way out of the house to take her to the vet, she was able to deliver, but we went on to the vet and had the rest taken by cesarean. Was a good thing, because she had twins, with two puppies in one sack. Vet said once he saw that, she would not have ever been able to deliver them and we would have lost them.
All worked out well, she was up and around within a few hours after the surgery, and has been an excellent mother.
Lizzie came in heat and we just finished breeding her to our champion sired male. Hoping she has puppies sometime around the end of the year.
We really enjoy both of them, maybe Lizzie a little more because she is more social. She sleeps in our bed every night, and has the run of the house and is almost totally house trained.
Hope all is well for you and your wife.
Thanks

I wanted to let you know that "Lady" and I arrived back in
It took my cat a few days to get used to being first barked at, then chased. But in a week, the cat was spending as much time stalking the puppy as Lady was chasing the cat. They are now real playmates, chasing each other around the house and wrestling together on the floor.
I've been taking her to work with me for about the last week and a half. I started her off with some crate training, but after the third day she decided to (mostly) just lay quietly under my desk. She loves everyone at the office, although she gets her feelings hurt if anyone forgets to say Hello to her. She's already learned to sit, stay, come and the last few days she's started barking when she needs to go out. Depending, of course, on what else is going on at the moment (if she's playing with the cat, she doesn't hear a word I say).
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that Lady is doing great and is turning out to be everything I had hoped for.
